How This All Started

“I got a $380 roaming bill after a 10-day trip to Europe. That was the moment I said: never again.”

My name is [Your Name or leave as “the founder”]. I started Sylvara Hub in June 2025 — just 6 months ago.

I’m not a big company. I’m not backed by investors. I’m just a regular U.S. traveler who discovered eSIMs, saved hundreds of dollars, and got obsessed with helping others do the same.

The story is simple: In May 2025, I went to Italy and Spain with my family. I thought my carrier’s “international plan” would be fine. It wasn’t. We came home to a bill that could’ve paid for two extra nights in Rome.

So I started researching eSIMs. I tried Airalo on a weekend trip to Canada — worked perfectly. Then Saily in Mexico — even better. Then Nomad in Thailand — hotspot saved my remote work day.

I made spreadsheets, tested speeds, read every review, and realized: There was no single, honest, U.S.-focused site that just told you what actually works.

So in June 2025, I bought the domain us.sylvarahub.com and started building this site — one page at a time, at night, after my day job.
